Holy Family had eight students represent the Nepean Zone at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival at Blacktown Pool on Friday, 26 February.
This carnival brought together schools from across the diocese which guaranteed tough competition. Congratulations to Anique P and Oscar Z who have now qualified to represent the Parramatta Diocese at NSWCPS MacKillop Swimming Championships on 31 March at Sydney Aquatic Centre.

Yesterday, students from Holy Family competed in the Captivate dance competition. These students gave up many of their lunch times to be apart of this group and should be congratulated on all of their efforts! Every single one of these girls worked really hard and it paid off, with our Junior group placing 3rd and Charlie’s solo receiving a Highly Commended🏅 Congratulations once again🩰🪩

🏆 **National Champions!** 🥇 Last week, Skylah Steele proudly represented New South Wales at the Little League Girls National Baseball Championships in Redcliffe, QLD. Over five days, her team played six games against strong competition from Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, and fellow NSW teams. They went through the pool rounds undefeated, securing their place in the grand final, where they claimed a convincing win over Western Australia to take the gold medal and become the 2025 National Champions. Skylah showed incredible determination, positivity, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, soaking up every moment and learning so much from her coaches and teammates. 👏 A huge congratulations to Skylah and the NSW Composite team—not only for taking out the title, but for being the only Little League Girls National Champions anywhere in the world!💙⚾️ #NSWBaseball #GirlsWithGame #LittleLeagueChampions #ProudMoment #BaseballAustralia #PenrithBaseballClub

We were very lucky to have a special visit from PolAir - NSW Police Force Aviation Command along with Youth Liaison Officers from Nepean Police Area Command. Superintendent Nicholson along with his crew on Polair 3 landed on our back oval and talked to us about NSW Police Legacy day. This is a national day that recognises the inherent risk, tragedy and loss felt by the men and women who serve our communities as well as their families. We also got to look at some of the fascinating equipment used to undertake a tasking and to help keep our communities safe. Please use the QR code to learn more about what this day means. Stage 1 enjoyed their excursion to the Science Space Wollongong on Friday. Students this term are learning about Sound & Light and were able to watch a show and explore various equipment to help them further develop their understanding🔉💡 What an amazing experience!
