On Tuesday 21st February, Holy Family school participated in the NRMA Science & Road Safety day.
The presenters talked about safety in the car and outside the car. Also they talked about the importance of wearing bike helmets and how they have a sticker on the inside that shows it has been tested to meet the Australian Standard. The NRMA Science & Road Safety day was fun because they presented important safety information in an enjoyable way.

We were very lucky to have a special visit from PolAir - NSW Police Force Aviation Command along with Youth Liaison Officers from Nepean Police Area Command. Superintendent Nicholson along with his crew on Polair 3 landed on our back oval and talked to us about NSW Police Legacy day. This is a national day that recognises the inherent risk, tragedy and loss felt by the men and women who serve our communities as well as their families. We also got to look at some of the fascinating equipment used to undertake a tasking and to help keep our communities safe. Please use the QR code to learn more about what this day means. Check out some of the photos from the visit below. Even the teacher's had a great time. #NPLD #learning #opportunity
